**Important Update as of 3/12/2020**
This Event will be Rescheduled. Date TBD.
Due to current travel restrictions in place by organizations associated with VaSHHRA regarding the COVID-19 virus, we will be rescheduling the March 25th regional meeting at SeaQuest Aquarium, Lynchburg VA. As we learn more about COVID-19 concerns and follow agency recommendations, we will let VaSHHRA members know about a reschedule date for this event as soon as possible. In addition, we will communicate any changes to future VaSHHRA events as we have more information.
It is our desire to continue to offer affordable and valuable learning events to VaSHHRA members and we greatly appreciate your continued support!

Speaker Information:
Jimmy Mitchell, Manager of Paramedicine Services, Centra
James “Jimmy” Mitchell has been in Public Safety for 29 years. He served 20 years with the Lynchburg Fire Department, serving as an EMS supervisor for the final seven (7) years of that career. Jimmy has worked for Centra in either a part time or full-time capacity for the past 24 years. He has been a Supervisor for Centra's Department of Paramedicine services for the past 5 years. During this time, Jimmy also had the opportunity to serve as a Flight Medic for Medflight III. Jimmy has overseen the Community Paramedic program since its inception in 2016.

Carrie Wright, Director of Strategic Development, Chik-fil-A
Chick-fil-A is recognized as one of the best known brands for providing excellent customer service and named as one of the nations leading employers. What set this company apart When it comes to providing their guests the best in service? Carrie Wright is the director of the rent for Chick-Fil-A wards Road and River Ridge Mall. She will share insights into the Chick-Fil-A way for guest services.

My professional experience in business, marketing, and strategy combines with my educational training in career counseling and planning to showcase expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and developing people. I provide consulting, public speaking, and team building in areas of customer service, hospitality, marketing, and team strategy. Additional opportunities include leadership to teams, individuals, and companies to launch people and products forward.
With strength in professional communication, I enjoy engaging audiences across multiple generations and topics.
My high energy personality allows me to draw energy from a crowd but also deeply contribute to the needs of those around me. I find joy in being able to encourage, uplift, and help those I come in contact with.
