Overview: For this webinar, we welcome the team from Gallagher! They assist us with the annual Tri-State Compensation Survey that so many of our members and non-members participate in each year. Compensation trends will be discussed on a national and more local level to include Salary increases, average wage increases, premium pay, minimum wage and staffing as well as best practices.
This webinar will be submitted for credits for HRCI and SHRM. This has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review. We expect 1 credit hour for the pre-approval.

Shannon Malone, Survey Manager
Shannon Malone is a Survey Manager with the Compensation and Rewards service line of Gallagher’s Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice. Ms. Malone brings extensive expertise in developing and conducting national, regional, and local salary survey market studies. Ms. Malone is a central figure in nearly all of the compensation surveys produced by Gallagher, facilitating the development and maintenance of the firm’s main compensation databases.
Ms. Malone uses her expertise in quantitative reasoning to analyze and interpret the data needs of healthcare organizations. She collects and interprets data from multiple sources, thereby providing the most accurate information to her clients. Ms. Malone provides quantitative insight into compensation structures for all levels of healthcare employees with an emphasis on executive pay.
Prior to joining Gallagher, Ms. Malone was a Total Rewards Associate with a national professional services firm, specializing in compensation market analyses, developing functional job descriptions, providing peer group analysis, and interpreting statistical data.
Ms. Malone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa. She also earned a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where her primary areas of interest were the advanced statistical analysis of psychometric data, comprehensive job analysis, cultural assessments, and survey design, administration, and analysis.

Linette Allison, Managing Director
Linette Allison is a Managing Director & Operations Leader with the Compensation and Rewards service line at Gallagher’s Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice. She leads the national healthcare total rewards consulting practice located in Minneapolis and Kansas City. Ms. Allison’s focus is the provision of consistent, high-quality, and responsive consulting services.
For more than 25 years, Ms. Allison has advised healthcare organizations of all sizes on all aspects of executive compensation and benefits, including helping them comply with regulatory requirements and governance best practices. Areas of expertise include total compensation analyses, retention program development, executive and physician benefit plan design, supplemental executive retirement plan design, severance plan development, employment contract review, and formal reasonableness opinion development.
In addition to consulting services, Ms. Allison’s team manages the compensation survey suite, data analytics, and proprietary database that support first-class, insightful consulting.
Ms. Allison graduated summa cum laude from Winona State University, receiving a bachelor of science degree with an emphasis in both finance and marketing. Ms. Allison also held the position of President of Sandstone Investment, a financial investment partnership, for three years.
